V1 believes S1 is putting the nails in her driveway attempting to intentionally damage her vehicle due to being involved in a prior crash with S1. V1 stated she had seen a Ford pickup truck near her driveway prior to seeing the nails. Deputies confirmed S1 drives a vehicle matching the vehicle type seen by V1. S1 was not available for an interview during the initial response. This is an on-going issue, V1 has notified law enforcement about the same activity multiple times in the past few weeks. V1 and D1 were involved in an argument in the parking lot which turned physical when D1 threw a drink out of the vehicle at V1 striking her. D1 then fled in a vehicle that was located minutes later. The incident was witnessed by W1 an independent third-party. Photographs of V1 were collected. There are video surveillance cameras affixed to the exterior of the business which capture the parking lot area; however, the video could not be accessed by the on-duty employees. D1 was placed under arrest and transported to jail. Case Status: CBA.

V1, W1, and D1 all attend school at Stetson Baptist together. The three were involved in a group chat outside of school, where V1 made derogatory comments toward D1. D1 then directly replied via text message outside of the group chat to V1 stating he was going to kill her. S1 was contacted at school and admitted to sending the threatening text message to V1 out of anger. O2 confirmed there were firearms stored inside a safe within the home. D1 was arrested and transported to the FRC. The VSO BTAT unit and Director Quann were notified. BTAT Unit responded to the residence and did not locate any firearms in D1's room. Case Status: CBA.

V1 and D1 live together as a family unit.  On Mother's Day, 05/09/2026, D1 was intoxicated and started a verbal altercation with V1 that turned physical when D1 grabbed V1's hoodie, pulled her towards him, and continued to put her in a choke hold, cutting her circulation and making her unable to breathe.  V1 then left the residence and began running and screaming for help. As V1 was running, she fell to the ground, and D1 caught up to her and again grabbed her hoodie and pulled her towards him, and then he grabbed V1's neck and started choking her.  D1 was not at the residence at the time of the incident being reported.  Pass on Affidavit was completed.  D1 was contacted later in the night and was arrested.

 R1 reported that two Solar Powered Electronic Display Sign Road Signs with Speed Feedback were missing from the northbound lane of travel on U.S. Highway 17, DeLeon Springs. R1 stated that both Electronic Display Signs had been taken within the last 30 days. The scene was then processed and a neighborhood canvass was conducted afterward. R1 stated that the EDS road signs were worth approximately $8200 each.

V1 reported she keeps her medical marijuana on her front porch under the carport because that is where she uses it.  V1 recently purchased approximately $150.00 worth of a refill for her prescription which she left under the carport.  At approximately 0335 hours she received a notification from her video surveillance footage but did not immediately check the footage.  At 0455 hours, V1 contacted law enforcement and provided video footage of an unknown person under her carport rummaging around the area where she keeps her marijuana. Case is active.

V1 and D1 are boyfriend and girlfriend who have lived together as a single family unit for approximately 5 years.  V1 and D1 were in a verbal argument which turned physical when D1 struck V1 in her jaw.  V1 tried to call 9-1-1 when D1 took her cell phone from her not allowing her to speak with 9-1-1.  D1 denied even having an argument; however, V1's children advised they both heard an argument.  D1 was charged accordingly.
